How to Make Sheet Pan Ground Beef

I’ve always loved sheet pan meals. All your food is in one place, cooks together and provides easy clean-up. After making food for four people, you know I’m not looking to spend half an hour scrubbing food remnants off the bottom of my favorite pots and pans.

That’s why I’m so in love with this sheet pan ground beef dinner hack. The idea came from Brandi Ward over at TikTok as @brandi.ward. Cheap, easy and oh-so-tasty!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds raw ground beef
  • 12-pack Hawaiian bread slider buns
  • 6-8 pieces of American cheese
  • 2/3 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • Seasonings of your choice (you could try Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder and salt!)
  • Aluminum foil (to line the pan)

Directions

Step 1: Spread the meat

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Take your best sheet pan and line it with aluminum foil so it’s completely covered. Take your ground beef and smooth it flat into the pan so it covers the foil to the edge. Sprinkle your seasonings on top. For an alternate method, you may also season your ground beef in a separate bowl, combine thoroughly and spread the mixture onto the pan.

Step 2: Cook your meat

Place your sheet pan into the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Once finished, drain the grease from the pan. Cut your Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the drained ground beef on the bottom half of the rolls. Cover with American cheese, cheddar cheese and the top half of the Hawaiian rolls. Bake for an additional 20 minutes.

Step 3: Cut and serve

Once your sliders are finished with their second round of baking, take them out of the oven. Cut along the designated lines of the Hawaiian rolls and serve. Add additional toppings per your own preference and enjoy!
