When it comes to brunch, staples like eggs, bacon and hearty breakfast casseroles almost always make an appearance. But in my opinion, the ideal brunch menu has both savory and sweet flavors. Here’s something fruity to snack on: Prosecco grapes!
This brunch snack takes only a second to prepare—and your guests won’t be able to resist them.
How to Make Prosecco Grapes with Vodka
I wish I could tell you that I came up with this idea, but all credit goes to TikTok creator @brunchwithbabs, aka Nonna. She shares all kinds of brilliant tips and recipes. Prosecco grapes might be her best one yet!
The recipe starts with a pound of green grapes, separated from the stem, washed, dried and placed in bowl. Cover them with about 2 cups of Prosecco, then splash in 2 ounces of vodka.
Next, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the grapes soak in the refrigerator overnight.
Before brunch starts the next day, drain the grapes and roll them in some sugar to make them pretty!
How to Eat Your Prosecco Grapes
Though you can eat these sugary-sweet grapes on their own, they also work well as a garnish. So why not line a few of them up on a toothpick and decorate your brunch drinks? Trust us, they’ll look and taste great. Or, if you’d prefer to keep them on the side, serve these grapes in a bowl on their own; they’ll be the perfect sweet treat after a savory quiche.
