The Addams Family Menu at IHOP Is the Perfect Thing for a Spooky Breakfast

Updated: Sep. 19, 2019

Wednesday's Web-Cakes are only one of the spooky additions to IHOP's Halloween menu.

Halloween is all about costumes and trick-or treat candy, but don’t forget to grab a good meal before you go door to door! Thanks to a completely creepy Addams Family menu, the eggs and pancakes at IHOP will give you plenty of energy to collect candy.

What’s on IHOP’s Halloween menu?

Each item on IHOP’s Halloween menu is inspired by The Addams Family, an animated flick that’s premiering in time for Halloween this year. (We’re fans of the vintage TV show, though.)

Wednesday’s Web-Cakes

These are more than just your ordinary buttermilk pancakes! Wednesday’s Web-Cakes are IHOP’s signature pancakes topped with frosting, Hershey’s chocolate syrup and purple icing. The pancakes even look like spooky spiderwebs.

Gomez’s Green Chili Omelet

This is stuffed with pulled pork, jack cheese, cheddar cheese, fire-roasted peppers and onions, and green chili verde sauce. Plus, there’s a dollop of sour cream on top. If you’re looking for a savory way to enjoy Halloween, this is definitely it.

Ice Scream Shake and Haunted Hot Chocolate

Need something to wash all this down? Choose between Uncle Fester’s Chocolate Ice Scream Shake or Morticia’s Haunted Hot Chocolate. The hot chocolate is a toasted marshmallow flavor, and both drinks have Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup and purple whipped cream topping. Purple!

Kooky Kids Combo

IHOP didn’t forget about the kids. Their Halloween menu also includes a Kooky Kids Combo, which comes with one Web-Cake, a scrambled egg, a sausage link and a crispy strip of bacon.

When Can I Get the Web-Cakes?

Halloween might be over a month away, but you can get into the spirit now. IHOP launched their Halloween menu on September 16. The Addams Family menu will be available through November 3, which means you have plenty of time to work up the courage to eat a Web-Cake. The Addams Family movie is coming out on October 11, so it seems like perfect timing to plan a movie night and breakfast for dinner with your family!
