Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff

- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3 cups cooked egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- In a large skillet, cook the beef, mushrooms, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the soup and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until heated through. Reduce heat. Stir in the noodles and sour cream; cook until heated through.

Good until you add sour cream. Then it became flavorless and too creamy. I’d say cut the sour cream down or skip

Delicious....LOVE this recipe...so good....I used fresh mushrooms and light sour cream...trying to cut a few calories.

For a quick and easy dinner this was really good. I was looking for something to make with what I had on hand and this hit the mark. To keep to what I had on hand I had to use elbow macaroni instead of the traditional egg noodles but no one seemed to mind. I did use a full pound of ground beef and whole 8 oz container of mushrooms with a little extra water with the soup and it was perfect.

I did not like the taste of the soup in this. I make my own with beef broth, much tastier.

I followed the recipe perfectly, but I didn't care for the taste. There was little flavor. I may make it again but this time I will add something to give it more flavor.

This was an easy recipe. I did add additional seasoning to this. I will stick to my usual recipe but glad I tried a new recipe.

I was so excited to try this recipe but so disappointed in its taste. It was very thick so I added some water to make it a little creamier and I also added some Worcestershire sauce. That made a huge difference in the taste. While traditional stroganoff requires much more time I think I will stick with putting in the time in order to get the taste. Glad I tried this recipe as I love trying different versions because you just never know.

Love the sour cream AND cream of mushroom soup together. A good go-to recipe when you have very little time and want to whip together an inexpensive comfort food dish. So simple!
