Pepperoni Cheese Bake

My husband requests this all the time! Often I bake one on the weekend and use it for a quick breakfast during the week. It calls for just a handful of ingredients and is so quick to make. —Suzanne Kern

  • 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced pepperoni
  • 5 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil


  • In a greased 9-in. pie plate, layer the mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. In a bowl, whisk the eggs, milk and basil; pour over the cheese. Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.

    I've made this many times and the entire family loves it, plus it is easy and quick to put together.

    this was so easy I almost felt guilty about it. Oh! and it was really good too. I threw some onion in for texture and taste but its a foundation made to be built upon. We ate this for dinner with a spinach salad and garlic toast.

    My kids and husband loved this. I love it because it is quick and easy! I added a little oregano to this to give it a little pizza flavor. I make this for dinner with a salad and bread.

    It was good however, next time i need to put a little salt on it to add more taste.
