This fruit salad was a great addition to our holiday brunch. It was bright and sweet and made a nice counterpoint to the savory egg casserole. You could definitely make this salad in advance but I would leave the bananas until an hour or two before serving, since they will get soft. It makes a lot of sauce so I might add more fruit the next time I make it...and there will definitely be a next time!!

Do not add the bananas until just prior to serving. Very similar recipe to Taste of Home's Four-Fruit Compote. Both are really good!!

I have trouble finding good fruit recipes that people actually eat. Well, this is it. I made it for a breakfast, and it was very well received.

Very nice, made it the night before and kept in the frig, didn't use bananas, but used a can of mandarin oranges with peaches, added alot more fruit and it was delicious, didn't use of the liquid I boiled and it was just right not too watery. Quick and easy!!!
