Wendy’s Just Dropped Three New Items for Summer That Will Heat Up Our Tastebuds

All of these are going to be great additions for the warmer weather months ahead.
There’s so much we love about Wendy’s, including its amazing variety and value. From its delicious and hearty chili to its healthy salads, we never get bored or leave hungry. But as much as we love its spicy chicken tenders and square-shaped burgers, we’re always excited for new options, and Wendy’s new items definitely have us pumped!
Wendy’s New Summertime Releases
Two of the new summertime release at Wendy’s really dial up the heat! And the third item marks the return of a perennial fan-favorite.
- Ghost Pepper Ranch Chicken Sandwich: According to the Wendy’s menu, this sandwich is the “legendary Spicy Chicken filet but now a whole lot hotter with three layers of ghost pepper heat.” It features a ghost pepper-infused American cheese, ghost pepper-seasoned crispy onions, lettuce, tomato and a creamy ghost pepper ranch sauce on top.
- Ghost Pepper Fries: The Ghost Pepper Fries are the Wendy’s natural-cut hot and crispy fries you love, coated in a unique spicy ghost pepper sauce for the ultimate flavor upgrade.
- Strawberry Frosty: Finally, for anyone looking to cool down over the summertime, the Strawberry Frosty has made its sweet return to menus. Wendy’s has said it will only be available for a limited time, so act fast to score this fan favorite!
Wendy’s Springtime Releases
Back in March, Wendy’s also released three new menu items for spring. These items are still available at participating U.S. locations and make for excellent lighter summer fare. They include a refreshing lemony drink, as well as two healthy grilled chicken options that are sure to be refreshing during warmer weather.

Blueberry Pomegranate Lemonade: This will be the latest lemonade in the lineup, and it’s a bright and refreshing addition for spring. Think tart notes of pomegranate and the sweet touch of blueberry, all wrapped in a colorful package that’s as pretty as it is delicious.

Grilled Chicken Ranch Wrap: This is the perfect grab-and-go meal! A warm tortilla stuffed with grilled chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, romaine lettuce and ranch sauce, this is bound to be a great snack for a busy commute or between running errands.

Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad: Wendy’s is known for their great salad options and this is sure to be another crowd favorite, with chopped applewood smoked bacon, diced tomato, grilled chicken, crispy fried onions, diced egg and ranch dressing. This can easily be paired with a baked potato or fries, or enjoyed on its own.
When Can I Get All These Items?
