According to Burger King, heat is having a moment. The chain happens to be right.
It was just a few weeks ago that Cheetos released its new ghost pepper puffs that emulate the flaming flavor of ghost peppers. Chick-fil-A also just brought back its 2016 Spicy Chicken Biscuit—one of the spiciest breakfast options around. With this summer kicking off a season of heat, Burger King has also decided to join in on the trend with the release of a blazing twist on a classic favorite—chicken nuggets.
The chain’s new Fiery Nuggets add even more heat to the summer, along with a special deal to pick up a free drink! Here’s how you can take advantage of the deal and pick up some savory treats.
What Are Burger King’s New Fiery Chicken Nuggets?
These new Fiery Nuggets are a spicy version of the iconic BK chicken nuggets. Get ready for your favorite nuggets to be “coated with an irresistible spicy glaze” made of Cayenne peppers, Birds Eye chili and Black pepper. Both Cayenne peppers and Bird’s Eye peppers are more than 10 times as hot as the average jalapeño. Meaning, these nuggets can add a serious kick to your day.

After that serious spice, BK customers may be wondering how things can get any zestier. That’s where the new BK exclusive limited-edition Frozen Fanta Kickin’ Mango comes in. The “latest take on frozen beverages” offers a refreshing mix of mango and citrus along with “a touch” of spicy chili flavoring. Even more enticing? This frozen drink costs only $1!
Burger King Is Offering a Special Deal One Day Only, Too
Fans can pick up the Fiery Nuggets and Frozen Fanta Kickin’ Mango starting Monday, June 19, nationwide! However, the items will only be available until August 17.
Plus, Burger King is offering a special deal to celebrate the “Hottest Day of the Year.” On July 26, Burger King Royal Perks members can pick up a free small order of the Frozen Fanta Kickin’ Mango! Signing up for the rewards membership is free and easy.
Whether picking up the new items or taking advantage of the deal, the new Burger King spice certainly “passes the hot grill summer vibe check.”
