I love this bread! It is VERY moist and I love that it's lower in calories! Excellent choice for a sweet bread.

This bread turned out quite yummy, but I had to put more applesauce in and even dump in some buttermilk too because the batter was so dry! In the end it was very good though.

I have made this recipe numerous times and it has always turned out delicious. I do leave the nuts out of the topping, but other than that, I don't change a thing!

this is very good, i added extra sauce as it seemed to dry. i used peach sauce instead of applesauce. didn't add nuts to topping. yummy

This bread gets an 11 on a 1-10 scale. It is HANDS DOWN the best bread I have EVER tasted!

Just made this bread this morning, and it is yummy. I left off the topping, and added a small half cup of nuts along with the apples. Had to cook it a tad longer because it was still wet in center, but I am very pleased with the outcome and I will make this over and over again. Thankyou for such a moist, delicious recipe.

LOVED IT!! I did not make any changes to the recipe and it was great; I will be making this again!

I made this recipe to take to Easter breakfast at church. When I sliced it, no matter how, the topping almost all fell off. I did not take it. The topping is the most flavorful part of the bread. So I wont make it again unless you can suggest some method (other than Elmer's glue)to make the topping stick.

This recipe was awesome and was my first attempt at making any time of homemade bread. It won rave reviews with my family. I did add just a pinch of allspice and choose a traditional strudel topping instead of one provided - but overall the basic bread was awesome!!!
