Reviews forToffee Crunch Grahams
"I added almond extract to melted butter and sugar and toasted the sliced almonds. After removing from oven spread with chocolate chips. Excellent.."
"I was excited to try this since it looked quick & easy. I followed directions exactly (used parchment paper sprayed with my favorite non-aerosol cooking spray). Looked good coming out of the oven. I let it cool & had family taste it & they all said it was very bland; which it was. Next day it tasted better, but it was just too sugary sweet for my family's taste. I am sorry I wasted the butter & sugar. I would like to know if anyone altered the recipe by including a bit of cinnamon or vanilla extract. Next time I want a quick & easy sweet, I will stick to our favorite fruit cobbler; less sugar & butter. I will not make it again, but I am glad that it worked for other people."
"A new favorite! I changed a few things...added more almonds before I poured on butter/ brown sugar. After it cames out of the oven I drizzled on melted milk choc. Chips & butterscotch chips & sprinkled on fine chopped walnuts."
"My favourite!! Tastes so yummy!!!"
"I love this easy recipe and every one will rave over it! As the other person I also put my almonds on before."
"I've made these several times over the past few years with one exception. I sprinkle the almonds over the graham crackers before I pour the brown sugar mixture. This technique covers the almonds with toffee."
