Baked brie with jam is the perfect easy appetizer centerpiece at any dinner party. It dresses up a table yet is so easy to make. One bite of this cheesy, fruity dish just isn’t enough!

Baked Brie with Jam Ingredients

  • Brie cheese
  • Mixed berry jam
  • Sliced almonds
  • Assorted crackers

Step 1: Preheat oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F. It’s best to have your brie out before baking.

Step 2: Add toppings

Place your cheese in a 9-inch pie plate and top with jam and almonds.

Step 3: Bake

Bake until the cheese is softened, about 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 4: Serve

Plain crackers are the perfect vehicle for brie since they don’t distract from the flavors of the cheese. Wait until the brie is at room temperature or slightly warm to serve. Never serve it chilled!

Baked Brie with Jam Tips

Can you make baked brie with puff pastry?

Baked brie in puff pastry is nothing short of elegant. You’ll have to adjust the oven temperature and baking time to the recipe. But the main takeaway is that the jam (or preserves) are spread in the center of the puff pastry. The cheese is then placed over the jam.

Can you use other jams?

Yep! The fun in cooking comes from experimenting. If you have a favorite fruit, start there! Apricot, peach, lemon…the sky’s the limit! But if you’re short on inspiration, you can try some of our favorite spreads. A homemade jam goes a long way here.

Can you use other nuts?

Brie with almonds is an unbeatable combination. But other nuts work as well. Walnuts and pecans pair wonderfully with brie. You can even try pistachios on for size (and taste.)

This lovely appetizer makes a great statement piece on any charcuterie board. Did you know you can eat the rind too? It’s savory, sweet and nutty. What more could you ask for?
