FOR an Easter party at our church, I created this fun rabbit centerpiece from a cheese ball recipe. My children enjoyed decorating the bunny. We used carrots for his ears and mini jelly beans for the eyes, nose and buttons. The cheesy spread has great flavor and is perfect for serving with crackers or veggies. My aunt, Clarice Paulson, who always serves this recipe on holidays, shared it with me.—Beth Paulson, De Pere, Wisconsin
I cut this recipe out of a newspaper a year ago and decided to trim it down by substituting fat-free and reduced-fat ingredients. Whenever I make this for an occasion, I end up being asked for the recipe,—Patricia Moore, Toledo, Ohio
Green chilies add a bit of zip to this rich cracker spread from Victoria Casey of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho. "I serve this appetizer often because it's tasty, quick to make and looks so pretty with the red tomatoes and green onions on top."
This is a terrific appetizer to serve when hosting an Italian-theme-meal. People may be a little hesitant to try it, but once they dip in, they won't be able to stop! —Cynthia Emshoff, Sarasota, Florida
Real aged sharp cheddar pairs well with sweet apple cider. Serve this as a spread with apple wedges and crackers. Or place on bread and broil for excellent open-faced sandwiches.—Wolfgang Hanau, West Palm Beach, Florida
