I've been making pineapple baked beans for decades and everyone loves them, so I multiple the ingredients. I also add Worcestershire sauce and sweet-hot mustard.

My sister & I have made this recipe twice now for family reunions. We ALWAYS have baked beans at these but this time they were different and everyone noticed! Everyone loved them, went back for seconds, and asked that they be included at the next family get together. The pineapple really makes a difference, adding a natural sweetness that is not heavy or syrupy. The only difference was that my sister used pre-cooked, pre-packaged bacon to save time. What we liked best was how quick and easy it is to prepare, so important when you have so many other dishes to get ready at the same time.
