After sampling these savory beans at our local John Deere dealer's open house, I asked for the recipe. To my surprise, they had started with canned beans and easily given them a wonderful homemade taste. They went over big at our summer reunion.

I have yet to make these baked beans and not receive at least three complements about how great they are. I use the Busch's Homestyle beans.

This is a favorite recipe. I am frequently asked to bring it to my husband's family gatherings. I add some molasses and a little Worcestershire sauce for a little deeper flavor. Delicious!
