Honey Mustard Apple Chicken Sausage

I threw this recipe together one day for a fantastic lunch. It’s a great way to use up leftover sausage and rice from dinner the night before. —Julie Puderbaugh, Berwick, Pennsylvania

What a delightful flavor combination! This is going in the regular dinner rotation. It was so fast and easy that it can be a go-to recipe for a busy weeknight. The honey, mustard, and apples really made the chicken sausage flavorful. I didn't have honey mustard so I made my own.

I used uncooked apple chicken sausages and just cooked them first and then added the apples. I also made my own honey mustard to taste and added at the end. Served with just vegetables to keep it low carb. Even my pickiest eater loved it. Making iagain tonight!
