Creamy Celery Beef Stroganoff

If you are like me and have an allergy to mushrooms. You can take away the can of mushroom soup and add a second can of the celery. I love Stroganoff but the mushrooms hate me.
I have made this regularly over the last few months so easy and delicious my family loves this, and I will continue to make it often. VFE
I gave this recipe one more star than my particular effort deserved, but I made a lot of substitutions, and that's on me. I'd say if you're going to make a vegetarian version, and make it on the stove top, leave out the onion soup mix. Beef can stand up to the intense flavor but veggie crumbles can't.
I have made this twice. Only difference is, I used fresh mushrooms instead of canned. We liked it...however, there was a lot of liquid. I would prefer it to be thickened, which I will try next time. I also will try adding red wine, as I think it is missing something.
Made this as submitted, no changes. This is delicious and easy.
I made this with frozen store bought meatballs. Really enjoyed and will make again.
This is a keeper in my book, anyway. So very good, and my husband loved it. It really does fill the house with wonderful smells. Serve it with warm bread and oh my it is soo good!!
This was so good and so simple to make. The house smelled fantastic and the family devoured it. I was hoping for leftovers, but none to be had. Will definitely be making this again and again.
