We have been using this recipe for years! Use half for a salad and half for pie filling. The half for the salad, beat 1/2 block soft Cream Cheese into the pudding before adding “The Goodies”.

I enjoyed this salad, needs to be eaten within a couple of days. Sadly, my family did not like. The recipe is solid, you don't even need the candy bar, it is sweet, creamy and crisp!

OMG! What a big hit at our Thanksgiving dinner. Didn’t use the milk like others suggested, used butterscotch pudding mix, and Granny Smith apples. Just sprinkled the pudding mix on the apples, it worked great. Yum!

Yum! Made with my youth cooking class and we all enjoyed. Other moms mentioned they have used different pudding flavors (caramel, butterscotch, chocolate) or added some TBSPs of creamy peanut butter to the vanilla pudding. But anyway you make, easy and delicious. Next time I would add some chopped nuts for crunch, but tasty as is.

My daughter-in-laws nieces friend really loved this recipe, some even fell on the floor and the dog loved it too! I recommend adding 3 tbsp of sour cream to balance the sweetness and to thicken up the recipe. I also love my personal spin on the recipe by substituting the snickers with diced red hot candys.

I tried this but so sweet we couldn't even taste the apples (I used granny smiths so tartness would offset the sweetness). I have made it in the past using only frozen whipped topping and no pudding which cuts down on the sweetness and allows the apples' flavor to come through.
