In a small bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Add boiling water. Cover and steep for 5 minutes. Strain, discarding tea bag and spices. Stir in sugar. Serve immediately.

This was fun and delicious. Not something my family usually does, but I was glad I took the time to make this as everyone enjoyed the treat. I did not change a thing and it turned out perfect.

This was really delicious....I went looking for a recipe that would include some of the many gallons of apple juice I had canned this fall, and this is a keeper. We go through a lot of tea in the winter months at our house, so I'm sure this recipe will be used again and again.
