The entire process took me less than a minute. Here’s all you have to do:

Search for the BR Mobile App in your mobile app store, and download it to your phone.
When you open it, you’ll have the choice of plugging in your email addy or registering with your Facebook info. Then you’ll see this:

The coupon will arrive at your email address within 24 hours, at which point you’ll have 30 days to use your coupon. But if you’re at a Baskin-Robbins store, and you want your ice cream scoop right this very minute, you can click on “REDEEM IN-STORE.” But note: if you redeem in-store, you really have to be ready to order that scoop because the coupon expires then and there if you don’t use it.

Other Ways to Use the App

The BR Mobile App lets you pay right from the app, allows you to access the nutrition and allergen information on all your menu choices, keeps you up to date on all the latest deals, coupons and promotions—and perhaps most importantly to the ice-cream obsessed, lets you know about new flavors and seasonal treats.

This month, for example, marked the introduction of Horchata Ice (in celebration of Cinco de Mayo). The app also spells out the limitations that apply to this free scoop deal, namely, that it’s available at participating Baskin-Robbins locations in the US, and it can’t be used during Celebrate 31 events or for waffle cones.
