Vanilla French Toast Recipe
- 2 Eggland's Best Eggs
- 1/2 cup 2% milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch salt
- 6 slices day-old bread
- Maple syrup or cinnamon-sugar
- In a shallow bowl, beat eggs; add the milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Soak bread for 30 seconds on each side. Cook on a greased hot griddle until golden brown on both sides and cooked through. Serve with syrup or cinnamon-sugar. Yield: 2 servings.

I really like this recipe. I ended up adding more vanilla extract and added cinnamon to the egg mixture. I used gluten free bread with this recipe and it was very good. I will be making it again.
I made this for my husband for dinner one evening. It was quick and easy and he enjoyed it. I used eggs laid by our ducks.
