Snack Crackers Recipe
  • Prep: 5 min. + standing
  • Yield: 12 Servings

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup canola oil
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons dill weed
  • 1 envelope (1 ounce) ranch salad dressing mix
  • 2 packages (10 ounces each) oyster crackers

Directions

  • In a small bowl, whisk the oil, dill and salad dressing mix. Place the crackers in a large bowl; pour dressing mixture over crackers and toss gently to coat. Allow to stand at least 1 hour before serving. Yield: 12 cups.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (1/3 cup) equals 237 calories, 16 g fat (2 g saturated fat), 0 cholesterol, 780 mg sodium, 20 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 2 g protein.

These are one of the reasons my son comes home from college. Also you can mail a batch to a college student without worry of spoiling or breaking.

This is good not great. I used a combo of Rice chex, ritz bitz mini cheese crackers, mini pretzels, Bugles, & corn chips. I did add 1&1/2 tsp Mrs. Dash Onion & Herbe seasoning. It still needed more flavor.Went well at the party, had a cup leftover.

Utterly delicious and soooo addicting!!! You just cant stop eating these!! The last time i made these i added a tsp of mrs. dash onion and herb seasoning. Yummy!!

People really seem to love this recipe! I use it 2 packages of mini Ritz Bits cheese crackers instead of the oyster crackers. Very addictive and so easy!
