Sesame Salmon Fillet

METHOD: Grill (gas or charcoal)

TIME: Prep: 10 min. + marinating Grill: 15 min.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard
  • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 salmon fillet (1-1/2 to 2 pounds)
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted
  • 3 green onions, sliced

Directions:

In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first six ingredients; add salmon. Seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 1 hour, turning once.
    Coat grill rack with cooking spray before starting the grill. Drain and discard marinade. Place salmon skin side down on grill rack. Grill, covered, over medium-hot heat for 15-20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and onions. Yield: 4 servings.
