Parmesan PointersWhen a recipe calls for shredded Parmesan cheese, use the cheese found in bags in the grocery store dairy section. Shredded Parmesan is often used in salads or soups where the shreds make a pretty garnish. If grated Parmesan is called for, use the finely grated cheese sold in containers with shaker/pourer tops. This type works well in lasagna and casseroles. (You can substitute either shredded or grated Parmesan in equal proportions in your favorite recipes.) If you decide to buy a chunk of Parmesan cheese and grate your own, be sure to use the finest section on your grating tool. You can also use a blender or food processor. Simply cut the cheese into 1-inch cubes and process 1 cup of cubes at a time on high until finely grated.

This is so easy and delicious. It is our family's favorite after Christmas and Easter left over recipe. My 5 year old has asked for it for her birthday dinner too. DELICIOUS

My kids loved it but since we don't enjoy onions (thus leaving them out), it seemed a little blah and very fattening to me

This recipe is one of my favorites and so easy to prepare. I substitute a dash of onion powder for the green onion and add frozen green peas (thawed) instead. I usually serve it with cornbread and a fruit on the side for a complete and delicious weeknight meal. Yum!

I have made this dish several times and it always is wonderful. It's very easy and quick to prepare, and the green onion gives it great flavor. Try adding a small can of mushrooms. This is a family favorite.

This is my teenagers' favorite meal! I make it substituting a large clove of garlic (crushed) for the green onions. I saute the garlic in the butter. Also, I've substituted light cream for heavy cream and it tastes just as good! Wonderful easy recipe!
