Before I tried this recipe, my family did not like this particular cut of beef because it was chewy. But these cubed steaks, slow-cooked until they're nice and tender, are now one of our favorites.Judy Long, Limestone, Tennessee

This is something I make often! My family loves it!!! Even my picky step-son asks me to continuously do it, along with frequent requests from my mother-in-law. This is definitely a keeper!!!!

This is my first slow cooker dish and it was awesome. I really love cubed steak and cooking it in the slow cooker made it extremely tender! I will definitely make it again : )

Family liked it and said it was a repeat recipe. Did not have all the gravy mixes, so made my own. Used onion soup mix instead of onions. Just as good.

I have 2 very picky teenage daughters so I was reluctant to try this because I didn't think they would even try cubed steak. I'm very glad I went ahead and made it. Neither one of them had any intentions of tying it so I planned on leftover for my husband and I. The delicious smell must have won them over because one of them caved and tried it and was raving so much the other one ate some and I had to hurry and make a plate for my husband before it completely dissappeard. They have both requested it since. Very delicious and not at all chewy. A family favorite now for sure!

I have made this recipe many times and it is absolutely delicious. At times I have added sliced fresh mushrooms with beef and onions. Also, instead of cooking in water, I add the gravy mixes to the water and cook it instead of adding the gravy mixes later. I have served it over noodles, mashed potatoes and rice and all are delicious.
