Honey-Rum Grilled Bananas Recipe
- 2 tablespoons rum
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 medium firm unpeeled bananas
- Vanilla ice cream
- In a small bowl, combine the rum, honey and cinnamon; set aside. Cut bananas in half lengthwise, leaving the peel on.
- Place bananas cut side down on grill. Cover and grill over medium heat for 3 minutes. Turn and brush with honey mixture. Cover and grill 5-6 minutes longer or until tender. Peel bananas. Serve immediately with ice cream. Yield: 4 servings.

The whole family loved this, since I didn't have coconut rum I added a teaspoon of coco lopez along with a regular rum, this was just like bananas foster only way easier.. will make again and again
I served these at our bbq and everyone loved them!!
It was terrible. the bananas were mushy and had no flavor. The sauce was sticky and also had no flavor. DO NOT MAKE THIS!
We were a little unsure of this one at first, but it's a favorite now! The rum flavor was a little strong for us, so we skip it now. Very nice light, easy, and cheap dessert!
