Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup salt
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground mustard
  • 2 teaspoons ground turmeric
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Directions

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Store in an airtight container for up to 6 months. Yield: about 1 cup.

"I've been using this seasoning mix for years now. I use it on many meals, including soups. I've even added it to my instant noodle mixes along with frozen mixed veggies that I add to the saucepan at the beginning. It's so mild, it can be used as an all-purpose seasoning too. Thanks, Bonnie Poole, for such a versatile spice mix (:-D)"

"I was so glad to find this recipe!!! Similar to one I lost some time ago. I love to use spice blends of all kinds and this curry one is great. I add to potato or macaroni salads, butternut squash, zucchini, tomatoes, and my favorite, EGGS!!!"
