"I tried this but so sweet we couldn't even taste the apples (I used granny smiths so tartness would offset the sweetness). I have made it in the past using only frozen whipped topping and no pudding which cuts down on the sweetness and allows the apples' flavor to come through."

"I made this yesterday to take to a salad supper and it was a hit. So much so that I had ladies coming up wanting the recipe. I think next time I will decrease the milk as it is not as fluffy as I like. However, the flavor was wonderful. The ladies loved it. I highly recommend this recipe as a Volunteer Field Editor for Taste of Home."

"My son had this at a potluck and has been asking me to make it for him. Couldn't be any easier. I like the idea of omitting the milk. May try that next time."

"I got a very similar recipe from my mother-in-law, but it doesn't use milk. You just sprinkle the instant pudding mix over the apples/snickers, toss gently to coat, and then fold in the Cool Whip. I haven't had trouble with it getting watery, and I wonder if the omission of the milk gives the water from the apples a place to go. This is a favorite in our house!"

"I read reviews to see how others have tweeked your recipes or for actual reviews Taste Of Home but reading about how some idiot emptied his babies diaper into cool whip or how someone cant believe its a salad and would only serve it to make someone diabetic blah blah blah! Really??? Is it really necessary to allow these kind of posts? I'm giving the" RECIPE" 5 stars by the way!!"
