  • 2 medium ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
  • 1 package (8 ounces) fat-free cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/3 cup picante sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Tortilla chips

1/4 cup: 73 calories, 5g fat (1g saturated fat), 2mg cholesterol, 258mg sodium, 5g carbohydrate (1g sugars, 2g fiber), 4g protein Diabetic Exchanges:1 fat


  1. In a small bowl, mash avocados and cream cheese until smooth. Stir in the yogurt, picante sauce, lime juice, salt and garlic powder. Serve with chips. Refrigerate leftovers. Yield: 2-1/2 cups.

"Wow where do I start.this is by far the best avocado dip ever.you can taste every ingredient in it.the amount of seasonings put together for this recipe was perfect.so delicious this dip will definitely change the persons mind that doesn't like avocado dip.it did mine.if I could give more than 5 stars this would be a 10 for sure."

"I am a big fan of avocados but don't care for most guacamole recipes. This makes a lovely, mild dip that could be spiced up or down depending on the heat of the picante/salsa that you use. I made a vegan version with soy-based "cream cheese" and "sour cream" instead of the dairy ingredients. Delicious!"
