Our only change was to use boneless, skinless chicken breasts and then reduced the cooking time a bit.

we love french onion mix, so this recipe was perfect for us. but if you dont like french onion dip, then you probably wont like this. i use the french onion soup mix with my pot roast too and just love the flavor. thank you!

I made this recipe with chicken broth instead of beer, and used 20 oz. of chicken broth to make more gravy. I also made this with boneless skinless chicken breasts. While I didn't care for this recipe at all, both my husband and semi-picky child both loved it and have requested I make it again. I served it with mashed potatoes.

I had a taste for chicken wings one night and used them in this recipe. they came out delicious! I didn't have any beer so i used wine to deglaze the pan. It made a great gravy and I made some angel hair pasta to put it over. A quick delicious dinner for a weeknight!!

Gravy was very bitter, don't know if it was the soup mix or the beer, but I will not try it again. 30 supper turned into an hour and a half making something different.

Wont make it again. It was very bland. Not much flavor at all. Not sure if it was the onion soup mix that I used or what. But I probably wont make it again. My family didn't like it either.

My husband and son loved this! I didn't have any beer so I used a can of chicken broth instead. Very good!

I have used this same recipe with pork and used chicken broth for the liquid. It is also very good.
