I made it this morning, I read the other reviews, did add more milk as suggested it was very thick, added a little more salt after tasting, used crunchy peanut butter. Smelled great cooking, was very bland, will try some honey next time, it needs something to get it a little punch. Haven't tried it toasted yet, may change the taste some.

The second time I made this recipe, I added an extra 1/2 cup of milk and it was much better. I would make it again. I have found that I always have to alter recipes to my own liking.

Sad. I was hoping for a muffin loaf kind of texture and more flavor. My batter was so thick, it didn't pour. Very dry, too. I will try and modify this and get back to you if I am successful. Otherwise, will try another recipe.

We also found this recipe to be bland, unfortunately. It was disappointing because our son is a peanut butter lover and he didn't find it flavorful.

Hmmm... I found this to be a little dry and bland.

I gave a loaf of this to my teen age grandson and it was an instant hit! Now, he has his mother making it at least once a week! Great flavor and a real "keeper"!!
