Maple Baby Carrots Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh baby carrots
  • 1/4 cup butter, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Directions

  • Place carrots and a small amount of water in a 1-1/2-qt. microwave-safe dish. Cover and microwave on high for 4-6 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain. Add butter; microwave for 30 seconds or until melted. Drizzle with syrup; toss to coat. Yield: 4 servings.

Editor's Note: This recipe was tested in a 1,100-watt microwave.

This is a quick and easy side dish and my family really likes it. A real keeper! I don't know why the stars aren't showing but I rated this a 5.

Easy, simple and good. I used 2 pounds of carrots and it took 20+ minutes to get them tender.
