Creamy Garlic Salad Dressing Recipe
  • Prep: 15 min. + chilling
  • Yield: 15 Servings

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (8 ounces) reduced-fat sour cream
  • 1/2 cup fat-free mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup fat-free milk
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions

  • In a small bowl, whisk the sour cream, mayonnaise, milk and sugar. Stir in the onions, garlic, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. Yield: 1-1/2 cups.

Nutritional Facts 5 teaspoons equals 33 calories, 2 g fat (1 g saturated fat), 6 mg cholesterol, 235 mg sodium, 3 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, 1 g protein. Diabetic Exchange: Free food.

This is an excellent dressing. It has a thicker consistence than bottled dressing, like the more expensive dressing on the market but I like that. This also works well as a dip. Very, very good! Yummm!!!
