Baked Hash Browns Recipe
  • Prep: 5 min. Bake: 55 min.

Ingredients

  • 8 frozen hash brown patties
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  • Place patties in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and garlic powder. Pour cream over patties.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 50 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5-10 minutes longer or until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted. Yield: 8 servings.

Nutritional Facts 1 serving (1 each) equals 213 calories, 15 g fat (10 g saturated fat), 56 mg cholesterol, 416 mg sodium, 15 g carbohydrate, 2 g fiber, 5 g protein.

I have added this one to my recipe book. I didn't have cheddar, so I substituted Mozzarella. Still tasted great!

great recipe, simple and easy., i also caramelized some onions put hash browns on top and folled recipe as directed. great flavor
