We love this fruit salad and everyone is always very happy to see it on the table. This is a keeper!

I make this all the time. I put the colored marshmallows in it. I also will try to find the christmas ones and for Easter I add in the pink bunny and yellow chick marshmallows. The kids love finding them in the salad.

This is very good. I used a can of fruit cocktail and it turned out very good. Will make this again. I agree try it.

Re: Ambrosia Salad

This is like my mom's recipe, except she added halved maraschino cherries. I've enjoyed it for over 50 years now!

Mom asked for ambrosia this Thanksgiving and this recipe was so simple and delicious. I was worried about the sour cream tasting weird with marshmallows and fruit, but it tastes so yummy. Very sweet, but light. Everyone tried some and a few even had seconds. A winner. Try it.

I'll make this for my best friend. She loves Ambrosia and wants me to learn how to make it for her. Thanks!
