Chickpeas are a common ingredient in many dishes in Pakistan where I grew up. I have combined the light spice of Pakistani foods with the love of deep-fried finger foods that many Americans, including my daughters, enjoy. Definitely a unique recipe! Cooked up great in the air fryer! The spices packed a punch in the fritters. The sauce was very simple and mild. I think next time I will cut back some on the cumin and add a bit more heat in the sauce.
