- 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup beer or nonalcoholic beer
- 1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, beer and dressing mix until smooth. Stir in cheese. Serve with pretzels. Refrigerate leftovers. Yield: 3-1/2 cups.

"Winner ! I made up just 1/2 of this recipe and had quite a bit left over. I used some of it tostuff a jalapeno pepper with. Hubby really enjoyed this lightened up version. The last little bitI used to stuff celery. One recipe served 3 ways and everyone was wonderful. Ranch dressing mix can be on the salty side so I would suggest seasoning as you go along.
