Starbucks couldn’t stop rolling out menu items in 2022. The chain debuted brand-new refreshers—like the Pineapple Passionfruit Refresher—as part of its summer menu in June, the Pumpkin Spice Latte earlier than ever in August and a legendary holiday menu in December.
It was a solid year for the coffee giant—but Starbucks’ 2023 menu already looks like it will be even better. And don’t forget about all of the secret drinks you can order along with it!
The brand-new winter items at Starbucks this year are as indulgent—if not more so—than the seasonal items we’ve come to love. Here’s a look at what your next Starbucks order might look like.
The Pistachio Latte Is Back!

The Pistachio Latte was a hot seller during its release and in its comeback the year after, so Starbucks decided to bring it back again for a third year in 2023. This latte is made with steamed milk and notes of nutty pistachio, then finished with comforting salted brown butter. Yum!
That’s not all—Starbucks will also have the return of a Pistachio Frappuccino, a cold and creamy version of the Pistachio Latte.
Pistachio lovers are in for even more of a treat this season with the chain’s latest drink drop—a Pistachio Cream Cold Brew. The smooth Starbucks cold brew with vanilla syrup, topped with a pistachio cream cold foam and salted brown-butter sprinkles is the latest Winter menu addition.
There’s no doubt that, according to Starbucks’ winter menu, Pistachio may just be the flavor of the year.

A key—not to mention, amazing—Starbucks perk is the ability to customize drinks! From everyone’s favorite Starbucks secret menu twists to simple additions of syrups, milks and espresso shots across the beverage board, customizations can undoubtedly raise any Starbucks sip to the next level.
Now, the Starbucks app will allow customers to order some specially customized drinks from a new Starbucks Winter Feels Menu! A list of suggested beverage customizations will appear on the app’s home screen. And we can confirm, it has beverages for all the feels.
In the mood for a spontaneous thrill? Try an “Adventure-Going,” which is simply an Iced White Chocolate Mocha with Pistachio Cream Cold Foam to add to even more of the winter menu pistachio delights. Need to focus at work or on a task? A “Focus Mode,” aka a Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew with Brown Sugar Syrup, will certainly do the caffeinated trick. And if you want to feel nice and toasty, then the “Warm Fuzzies,” or a Matcha Latte with Oatmilk & Peppermint Syrup, is the green drink for you.
But you’ll have to act fast on this rollercoaster of beverage emotions! These suggested customization options will only be on the home screen of the app for the next week. And, a new Starbucks Classical Pop playlist full of string quartet bops of your favorite pop hits will be available while sitting with all these beverage feels.
What Food Will Be Back on the Menu?
In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, the Starbucks menu will also see us indulging in the Red Velvet Loaf once again. It’s the peak of sweetness topped with frosting and makes for a delicious dessert—or snack. We’re more than happy to see it heading back to stores.
