Starbucks launched its famous Pumpkin Spice Latte in 2003. 20+ years later, it’s become the most popular seasonal beverage in Starbucks history. During the rest of the year, we keep a good Pumpkin Spice Latte copycat recipe handy, but thankfully, this nutmeg-dusted fall drink will soon be back in stores.

Yup, it’s Augtober already! Time to grab a reusable Starbucks cup and head to your nearest store ASAP.

When does Pumpkin Spice come back to Starbucks?

The Pumpkin Spice Latte will be back in all its glory on Thursday, August 22. The Starbucks fall menu will feature a handful of other pumpkin drinks, including the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai. However, the PSL—an espresso and steamed milk beverage with pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove—marks the beginning of fall for millions of Starbucks fans.

If it seems too warm to indulge in a hot Pumpkin Spice Latte, remember that you can order it on ice. You can also request that sticky sweet syrup in just about any beverage from Starbucks. If the weather in Augtober stays humid (which, let’s be honest, it will), order a Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino to stay cool.

How long does Starbucks serve pumpkin spice?

Starbucks will serve pumpkin spice drinks until its holiday menu appears in November, but your store may still have the ingredients to make a Pumpkin Spice Latte well into December. Just ask!

You can get your fix at home, too. Grocery stores will be stocked with all kinds of Starbucks pumpkin spice products. Look out for cold brew concentrate, creamer, iced espresso latte, Frappuccino, flavored ground coffee and PSL K-Cups. Never hurts to buy in bulk, right?
