A great snack for the entire family. I like to make up a batch of the filling on hand so I can make these for my kids at a moment's notice.

Oh! Almost forgot...I'd be interested in hearing how the nutella in place of peanut butter turned out -- or any other PB substitutes. No peanut products allowed in granddaughter's school.

Quite tasty! Marcia, perhaps you didn't chill them long enough? Mine sliced fine. A light brushing with lemon juice also keeps the apples from turning brown.

It was good but when I sliced the the filling just fell out. It was frustrating and we ended up smearing it on the slices which was a mess.

You use an apple corer to remove the core. They are available in any store that sells cooking supplies.

This is a wonderful treat for kids after school snacks. But, these are good for adults too.

Looks like a great recipe that I will try immediately! I will also try them using Nutella instead of the peanut butter.

Dip the apple slices in a citrus soda like Sprite or 7-Up and they won't turn brown.

I made these today and they are yummy. My husband and I both enjoyed them. Will definitely make them again. So easy!
