Ingredients
- 4 teaspoons ground coffee
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground chipotle pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 beef ribeye steaks (3/4 pound each)
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients. In a shallow dish, combine oil and Worcestershire sauce. Coat steaks in oil mixture. Rub coffee mixture over both sides of steaks. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes, turning once.
- Grill, covered, over medium-high heat until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°), 4-6 minutes on each side. Top each steak with 1 tablespoon butter. Let steaks stand 5 minutes before serving.
