Kansas City Barbecue Sauce

This tangy Kansas City BBQ sauce is lip-smacking good. It's thick, and a little sweet with a touch of heat. If you like it spicy, add a little more hot sauce or chili powder. —Sherry Pitzer, Troy, Missouri

This recipe was delicious and my family really enjoyed the chicken wings. I added less hot pepper as I made this for my parents, too. In her late 80’s, my Mom and Dad do not enjoy hot food. My hubby and son love it hot so I let them add their own hot sauce!
