Excellent recipe. Easy and tasty. Cooking the bacon and the kale separately avoid over or under cooking either one.

Who isn't going to like anything with bacon? This was a home-run with everyone in my family. I used 1/2 of an onion as that was all I had. I also cooked the kale in beef broth. Used probably too much of the bacon grease, will back off a little next time. Great flavor. Will definitely make this again.

Great recipe! The bacon even tempted two male veggie haters to eat kale. I used two small bunches of kale and six strips of bacon (which was more than enough bacon). I also used olive oil to cook the onions and garlic, since I don't use bacon drippings.
