Easy Drop Biscuits

One day I had company coming and realized I had run out of biscuit mix. I'd never made biscuits from scratch before, but I decided to give this easy drop biscuit recipe a try. Now this is the only way I make them! —Sharon Evans, Clear Lake, Iowa

A simple but delicious recipe. Easy enough for my 12 year old daughter to make with confidence! I am a volunteer field editor. We make this recipe when we don't have time for cutting out traditional biscuits- and honestly, these are just as good!

Absolutely delicious! I was short of biscuit mix and didn't have canned biscuits so had to find an alternative quickly so I was happy to find this recipe. I added buttermilk powder to the mixture and used butter flavored shortening. Will definitely be making these again.
