Chicken Salsa Pizza

- 1 prebaked 12-inch pizza crust
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1-1/3 cups salsa
- 1 cup cubed cooked chicken
- Preheat oven to 450°. Place pizza crust on an ungreased baking sheet. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup cheese. Top with salsa, chicken and remaining cheese. Bake 8-10 minutes or until cheese melted.

I plan to try this soon, and so glad I read the reviews. Instead of the salsa, which they say makes the pizza too wet, I plan to combine chopped tomatoes, chopped onion, chopped jalapenos, chopped cilantro. Combine in a bowl, and and just spritz it with a touch of lemon or lime juice. Stir and add to pizza in place of salsa. I will report my results once I try it.

This was a surprise. No one in my house was sure how it was going to taste. But it was fabulous! I used salsa from a jar and I won't do that again. Too soggy. But it was still oh so good!

I thought this easy recipe would be really good. As it was the salsa made it very sloppy to eat, very wet on crust. My family didn't care for it. Once you cut the pizza and tried to pick up a slice, half of it slid off the crust. Not impressed.
