Ingredients

  • 4 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 1/4 pound butter, melted
  • 2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Nutritional Facts

6 ounce-weight: 107 calories, 8g fat (5g saturated fat), 20mg cholesterol, 273mg sodium, 4g carbohydrate (2g sugars, 1g fiber), 7g protein.

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, bring 1/2 in. of water to a boil. Add asparagus; cover and boil for 3 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain.
  2. Arrange asparagus in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Drizzle with butter; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and pepper. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Yield: 10-12 servings.

"I have made this for years but I sprinkle ranch seasoning before the butter, then add the Parmesan and cook in oven for 30-40 minutes. The cheese kind of carmelizes on the top, the only problem is NO LEFT OVERS whether10 people. Enjoy.. there are 4 people or"
