Easy, yummy. I cut the recipe in half for just my husband and I. I also steamed the asparagus, since I think that gives it a better texture. Because I cut it in half it then called for 1/2 - 1 tsp of lemon juice. I did about 3/4 tsp. Next time I will bump it up to the 1 tsp. Make sure you add the salt... We felt the salt brought out the lemon flavor more. I'll definitely make this again!Update: This time instead of adding salt, I just used salted butter. That was enough salt for us. The 1 tsp of lemon juice (for half of the recipe) was good. Still a great recipe!
Great side dish, especially on a summer cookout.
A fast, easy and tasty way to fix asparagus. I don't use the tarragon, but the asparagus is still delicious!

We made this to go with our ham for Easter dinner. The flavors marry perfectly, allowing the fresh asparagus taste to come through, rather than overwhelming it as so many recipes do. Everyone, even those who did not usually care for asparagus, loved this one. It will make a great veggie dish for BBQ also.
