- 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup beer or nonalcoholic beer
- 1 envelope ranch salad dressing mix
- 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, beer and dressing mix until smooth. Stir in cheddar cheese. Serve with pretzels. Yield: 3-1/2 cups.

"Fantasic go-to dip! I used a lager, and couldn't taste it using 1/3 cup, so I added more to thin the dip to the consistency I wanted. I didn't put the whole 2 cups of cheese in either, as one to 1 1/2 cups seemed sufficient. It's a bit salty, even after adding the extra beer. I don't mind though!"
