Strawberry Smoothie Tips

How can I make my strawberry smoothie thicker?

Using frozen strawberries or frozen bananas instead of fresh is the quickest way to thicken up your strawberry smoothie. You can also use vanilla Greek yogurt instead of regular vanilla yogurt. Finally, you could freeze the orange juice into cubes before blending, if you have the time.

Can I make this strawberry smoothie vegan?

Make your strawberry smoothie vegan by using a nondairy yogurt such as coconut yogurt, and replacing the honey with maple syrup or another vegan sweetener. Check out our other picks for dairy-free foods worth adding to your cart.

What else can you add to a strawberry smoothie?

A few of our favorite ways to add protein to smoothies include blending in raw oats, protein powder, flaxseed or chia seeds. Otherwise, think about your favorite flavor combinations with strawberries, and go from there: Mango, peach and peanut butter could all be great ingredients to experiment with.
