100% would make again

“My sister and I came up with this recipe while thinking of spooky, ghoulish foods for a Halloween party. You can also serve the 'worms' as an appetizer with BBQ sauce for dipping and party picks.” Either way, this dish from Diane Eaton of Campbell, California is a hoot and kids love it!

We found a similar idea several years ago using just the hot dogs and grilling the strips so they had lines on them. Once they're curled, just keep them warm in a crock pot. Add "blood" (ketchup) or "puss" (mustard) or "ground lizzard tails" (relish), or hot dog chili sauce on them in a regular hot dog bun. Definately a hit with all ages! A really fun twist on the always popular hot dog!

We even boiled them one year with green food coloring- very strange! LOL! The grilled had the best flavor.

This is a fun and easy dinner that all of my kids will eat. It's so easy to make that my 4 year old made it last year using a kids saftey knive and a very low temp. We're using it again this year and looking forward to it.
