Being a widow who likes to cook big meals, I frequently invite family and friends for dinner. On busy days, I rely on this easy recipe, which I got from a dear friend. It's hearty and satisfying and always gets raves. -Joan MacKinnon, Brooklyn, Nova Scotia

I am very picky with my pork chops because most turn out dry. This recipe is anything but. I used at least 1 inch thick chops and they were very moist and flavorful. #1 pork chop recipe for me :)

I've made this many times. I substitute an 8 oz can of tomato sauce for the ketchup to reduce the sugar in the sauce.

I actually baked these covered and they were very tender.

This smelled heavenly while it was baking, but when the time came to taste it the spices seemed lost. Next time I'm going to try doubling their measurements or perhaps reducing the flour like another review said. All in all though a great recipe that I will make again.

This an absolutely wonderful dish. The flavor is superb, the chops come out very tender and it's easy to prepare. Served with with noodles, so you can enjoy the sauce, and paired with seasonal vegetables; it makes an outstanding meal.

This is a go-to dish that we love. I usually reduce the flour to 1/4 cup, and even so usually have enough coating left for another time. I make this on the stove top in the summer and it turns out great.
